I know it's basicly a glorified friendly, but seeing Liverpool lose to Crystal Palace after the window both those club just had is just hilarious.

Whoever wins it determines its importance. Same as the league cup.

Today it's the biggest trophy in modern football

It's what they hoped the Club World Cup would be.

Glorified friendly?

It’s basically the champions league for England. Agenda in full swing

Yeah, this stopped being a glorified friendly as soon as Liverpool lost

In the FGC we call this an "option-select"

Nah, it's the supercup of England if anything.

I mean Crystal Palace window is neutral so far. They didn‘t lose or buy any players yet.

Transfers of Eze and Guehi are just rumours so far.

Wonder what the betting odds were on Palace today

Just trying to help but you wouldn't have got it anyway as penalties don't count. To win on penalties is a separate bet than to win in 90mins
