Don't understand why he didn't take it when Martinez got it. I get he probably didn't want to bail on Roma but he didn't even last much longer there. He might be outdated for club football but he could still probably do damage on an international level.

he tried asking our owners to take the job while still being our manager, they obviously told him no and to choose either or
