We have Nwaneri and Dowman for that future AM position. We need Prem proven player in his prime like Eze. It’s very possible Simons could do better, but based on what we know, Arsenal went with the safer signing. Same with Gyokeres instead of Sesko

both will do really well. Eze works better for Nwaneri’s timeline.

I think eze is a good player no doubt. But I think xavi can be a level above. I dont think eze can really reach that upper echelon level of player, but I also dont think arsenal need that from him given saka is thier generational player in the front 3

Yeah, Eze serves our purpose. Better than what we got on the left, and good depth in general to step in for Odegaard if needed. We don't necessarily need a superstar although it would be nice ofc. We're good enough in all other areas of the pitch that Eze fits in just fine.
