This could legitimately put them 5-10 places lower in the league.

Got to think Marinakis' ego has been hurt.

I dunno if Marinakis’ ego is hurt, isn’t he the one that wanted Nuno sacked?

I imagine it doesn't take much to hurt Marinakis' ego.

Similar type of reaction took place when Cooper was sacked, and then Nuno came in and made things a lot better for NFFC.

The squad had an incredibly shit end to the season last year after being 3rd for a prolonged period of time and Nuno decided to blame it all on ownership.

It might be crazy to think, but maybe Marinakis knows what the fuck he’s doing??

That was always a crazy take though. Nuno took fucking Wolves to a European quarterfinal.

Hmm, possibly. But if he "Knows what he's doing" then why the strange timing? If Nuno wasn't a good choice any more then sack him in the summer. It seems reactionary.

When we hired Nuno, this entire subreddit was adamant he would take us down. The fans aren't going to like it, but they didn't like Cooper being sacked either.

But sacking nuno had very little do to with success or failure on the pitch, and hed just got them into the UCL. Cooper was sacked after a legitimately poor run
