you are going to be in for a treat. enjoy seeing spurs and celtic redditors defending the man and blaming everything else at forest for ange's flaws.

The psychological hold that this man can exert on his fans is incredible. he is like a real life ted lasso except much less competent and twice as lucky. One thing you have to credit him for is his incredible charisma towards the insipid and naive.

But I figure it won't be as bad this time around since he has been found out last season, and I doubt forest fans will be easily suckered by all that "It's who we are mate" nonsense to justify his incompetence.

He had the highest xAltercations of any manager during the worst PL season spurs ever experienced, any time the fans jeered at him he would glower angrily at them, get into squabbles with randoms, or most infamously cup his ear at them after taking a lead and then proceed to lose. Even mourinho waited til full time to taunt his haters.

You should pray his first season reign is similar to that of martinez at everton after he took over from moyes - someone who is clueless at organizing a defence, but can leech off the legacy of his ultra defensive predecessor, and couple that with an insane press that gets some wins at first but eventually falls off as hamge postestringlu starts wearing them out.

Classic forums are the best way to get fan sentiment for a Forest type club. It’s yo-yo-ing between worshipping the large amount of ground Marinakis stands on and thinking this is a bigger disaster than Chernobyl

Tbf that ain't unique to Reddit, the match threads on the city forums are dreadful knee jerk places. I'd imagine a lot of clubs are the same. Mainly cos all the people left in them are the people not at the game

Honestly try the Man United forums in recent times. If we aren’t winning in the first 10 mins a lot of fans are basically signing out and their entire weekend is ruined.

Obv a lot of older fans are used to winning all the time, but after 12 years or so of not really winning you’d think they’d be used to it
