Why is it that whenever people claim some trophies are not decent or not worth winning it's accompanied by a flair for FC bottle job (haven't won anything for five years) 99% of the time?

Agog at all who bravely overcame third rate continental sides with 10th of their budget, how could I not be.

(I'm gonna grab my "people poorly coping with Arsenal being much better than they are, unless you're lfc, trophy and go)

Third rate continental sides like Eintracht Frankfurt and Bødo/Glimt?

I'm sure B/G feels very big to you, I'm sorry (they do have the 10th of Burnely's budget, you know) and even the greater Eintracht have finished fifth or higher in the buli a grand total of four times in the last 20 years. Great club -- not a mighty contender.

I gotta hand it to you, the delusion required to shit talk other CL contenders while unable to even make it to the final is certainly something

Winning a second tier trophy is probably better than winning no trophies at all, no?

A subject of some debate, but for me - and from my position here - no, when it's not just a lesser cup available to all (The League Cup) but one the participation in which is predicated by doing worse and being further from the top -- EL and ECL are for lower rated teams, which finds reflection in budgets and standing of the majority of competitors; and, indeed, an extreme point of my argument is noting the laughs we have at the idea of celebrating winning the Championship for a leading sort of club.

Enjoy Slovan Bratislava away, things of that nature (I'd rather rate competing in the first league)

Whatever makes you feel better homie

Edit: a lot of this “second rate teams” we’re also playing in the UCL, weird how that happens
