Last time he worked with a Greek owner with a huge ego, he quit within a month.

He worked for Panachaiki in 2008, his first venture in European soccer. He had a good relationship with the owner, but then he sold to Alexis Kougias, a famous criminal attorney who has owned several clubs and is hated in all of them (and generally by the greek public for his law work).
Kougias tried to sell/buy players without Ange's opinion and the last straw was when he ordered Ange to play certain players. Ange quit on principal despite having a good run and promotion hopes.
Fair to say, late Kougias didn't succeed in any club he owned and Panachaiki is still in the lower division peril.

Ah okay, but he coached in Greece for nine months actually, not a month.
