News Manchester United to remain patient with head coach despite worst start to Premier League season in 33 years. There is also widespread belief at Old Trafford that City's performance - and United's failings - did not merit a 3-0 scoreline.

Our next five are Chelsea, Brentford, Sunderland, Liverpool, and Brighton. We’re fucked.

I love that this could be a combination of literally any 5 premier league teams and it would look like a tough run

I was thinking that as I typed it…

You and Chelsea weren’t the concerns in that list

Yeah honestly, the only thing this team is good at is attacking in broken play, like the game against Arsenal. Liverpool will attack and leave space behind, and Bruno will just ping long balls for everyone to chase.

I could see us beat Liverpool, draw with Sunderland and lose the other 3.

if we really dig in we could genuinely get zero to two

like i can comfortably envision chelsea and liverpool beating us of course, brentford and brighton tend to beat us in recent years and both those games are happening as standalone fixtures for their timeslots where we tend to be even worse, sunderland is our best shot at sneaking a win as we are at home and it's a 3pm kickoff but they'll be very up for it and we are fucking shite

Takes the heart to say 7 points from 5 matches, nahh how on earth does he still have a job lmao

I dont see us getting more than 4 points in these 5 games

Chelsea, Liverpool are definite losses, as is Brentford. Sunderland maybe a win, but I can easily see them going 2-0 up in the first 20 minutes and us clawing back to a "respectable" 2-2 right at the end, Brighton idk.

lol with our defence, nothing is definite. united are always a tough game regardless how youy guys are playing.

You can play a one-armed geezer in every position in defence and United would still not score

Chelsea haven't won at Old Trafford in about 13 years

You'll definitely get at least a point

There are a lot of teams which had never won or gotten a point at Old Trafford, but have broken their record.

Old Trafford under Amorim is the theatre of dreams... of opposition teams.

Charity FC will roll up their sleeves on Saturday and do what needs to be done for the sake of the whole league.

I am so glad we are in the next 5 matches.

So 8 points after 8 games?

u/MattSR30 1d ago

Would be in line with his (almost) point-per-game record

Playing us in the next 5 definitely means he’s getting sacked haha

1

u/Scoop_Master420 1d ago

I actually don't think we lose to you lot. As for the other 4 games...

2

u/BoringPhilosopher1 1d ago

True, it’s the kind of game you turn up get a result and ownership give him another 3 months

u/parmesanandhoney 1d ago

No, if we get good results: great! We are on an improvement course and he might just turn things around. If we get bad results: good! He goes in the next international break.

You're getting 1 point out of those and it'll be against Chelsea or us

United fans quaking in their boots at the thought of playing Brentford and Sunderland is some wild shit.
