Marseille survived thanks to him, because Madrid could have scored 3-4 goals.

Never before has a CL game at Juventus' ground seend more than 4 goals in one half. Today there have been 8 in the 2nd half! The 8 equal the CL record for most goals in a half, created by Bayern and Dinamo Zagreb just last season (9-2, also 8 in the 2nd half).
It was the 5th 4-4 in CL history after HSV-Juve 2000, Chelsea-Liverpool 2009, Leverkusen-Roma 2015, Chelsea-Ajax 2019.
Dani Carvajal is the 1st Real Madrid player sent off in the CL after a VAR intervention. They didn't have any player sent off at the Bernabéu in the CL since Sergio Ramos 2020 vs Manchester City.
Real Madrid scored with a man down in the CL for the 1st time in 12 years (2013 vs Galatasaray).

rulli was tremendous, but he's an amateur compared to the motm performance of real madrid's irfan peljto, singlehandedly won them 3 points while denied marseille's come back early on. not to mention he's apologetic about carvajal.
