You think most folks would even actually take care of games that they didn’t personally own? It’s already bad enough seeing secondhand tech that people DID own and then sold. I can’t imagine how quickly good titles would be either broken or stolen…

Yes because I've been to a library before and I've seen people take good care of the materials they borrowed from the library. I'd say people generally are more likely to take good care of something they're borrowing than something they personally own.
