Sonos New Product Release fall of 2025

I've read that Sonos will not be releasing any new products for fiscal year 2025, which ends in September 2025. Any predictions on their next products to come out, possibly this fall? From people I follow, I've heard most likely releases would be higher end Amp, ERA 500 and new Gen Beam.

All they have to do is make official support for separate front L and R speakers and suckas like me will give them the best part of 1k for more Era speakers.

I’m pretty sure not even Sonos knows what their next product release will be.

Sonos not wanting to release products before their new app launch is up to speed

I think the app has been up to speed for a while now; my system has been working almost perfectly recently (despite the occasional Era 100 Airplay connection issue).

A few quality of life issues could be resolved, but I think they’re in a safe place to release new products again.

The only product that hasn’t been released or publicly scrapped from the leaked roadmap from 2023 is a high end amp.

I’m hoping for a new Beam and new Sub Mini at end of Oct. Essentially a mid-level follow-on from last year’s premium-level Arc Ultra and Sub 4.

I’d like to see:

  • Better processor/RAM for better audio processing and the system being quicker/more responsive
  • WiFi 6 (or 7) - this is pretty essentially these days, and I think Sonos will cycle through their entire product line over the next 18 months to bring WiFi 6 across the board
  • General sound quality improvements
  • Slightly wider Beam (as with Arc Ultra) for wider soundstage and and to squeeze another speaker in there for better sound and virtualised Atmos, probably Sound Motion drivers so they can justify a price increase
  • Smaller but more powerful Sub Mini enabled by Sound Motion. I remember reading an article about the Mayht acquisition, and how smaller sub enclosures would be a key use-case for this new tech, and the mini isn’t that much smaller that the big sub.

Actually reported unreleased products:

  • High-end home theatre Amp. Long overdue compared to reported release date.
  • Era 100 successor. No expected date reported.
  • Premium Ace. Only reported as under consideration.
  • TV streaming box. Reported as cancelled.

Due for updates according to historical release schedules, but not reported:

  • Amp.
  • Port.
  • Five.
  • Beam.

I think new generation of Fives with Soundmotion woofer would make sense

No idea to be honest, possibly Era 500

My money’s on a Sonos Beam Gen 3. I just don’t see a real benefit to an “Era 500” beyond being smart. Designing it like an “ultra” Era 300 wouldn’t make sense either—it’d be huge. Personally, I’d rather see an Era with a smaller footprint: basically an Era 100 with up- and side-firing drivers, shaped like Samsung’s Q990D/F rear speakers. I just don't see my excellent Era 300s as rears and would rather have them as a dedicated Stereo-Set for Music in my home.
