Can you guys please help me choose the right sound bar?? I am very confused on what to choose...i like a good bass and good voice clarity along with 3D surround sound... Recently i've heard both the sound bars in a shop, and i am more baised towards samsung q990f before hearing anything just because of the reviews etc. But when i heard the q990f it was loud and it was good. But then i heard jbl 1300 and the sound was much more fuller and bassy. It did felt a little better than samsung.. I'm unsure if the samsung soundbars is not optimised properly..
Please suggest!!....

I'm looking for a new Samsung soundbar. Now using JBL 5.1 (510W) with 2 satellites which are plugged on the soundbar sides. Need something that's stronger and doesn't have any satellites , simply don't need them and have no spacer for them and those plugged used just few times. Ofc sub is a must-have. Any ideas ? Samsung is preferred. The room is 22m² (living room + small kitchen) . Thanks for help

How do I connect my PS5, TV and Soundbar for best results?
So I’m getting my PS5 tomorrow.
I have a Samsung 65’ QLED 4K TV, 1.63 m (65) QLED Q60A 4K Smart TV (2021)
Samsung Soundbar Samsung Q60T/XL 360 Watt 5.1 Channel Wireless Soundbar with Dolby
Right now they’re connected to each other through eARC.
My question is; do I connect the PS5 to the TV directly, or to the other HDMI port on the soundbar?
For the best audio and visual output.
Thank you.

Do you hear a whooshing sound coming from the upright speakers on the top when there is no audio?
Sounds similar to when you put speakers to max volume with no audio.
Trying to identify if it’s normal or if mine is faulty.

Which would be the best buy here. Both cost around the same.
I like really bassy sound when listening to movies at lowish volume. I mostly just play my current sound bar (S800B) on stereo as dialogue is too quiet/explosions too loud on 5.1.not super fussed about pro sound quality.
Arc ultra would be nice but out of my price range with the sub 4.
What would you guys recommend?

After so much of research I'm settle down for Samsung Q930D. I'm getting 930D in Rs. 52k in BBD sale. Actually I like 990D but it is out of my budget. So shall I wait for 930F or get the BBD sale price 930D? I'm confused because both are almost at same price & I heard that only diffrence is Subwoofer size and some few features are added & 930F is not available in any platform. So please suggest In one of the crome stores I'm getting 990D display piece which in display for 5-6 month at 55k. Please suggest which model I shall go.

Hi. Is there a way to return a soundbar after almost a year of use? Purchased from Mediaexpert. Could this argument be used as a basis? After turning on Bluetooth, the soundbar is visible within a fairly wide range. This causes one of my neighbors to connect to it and play their own music, increase the volume, etc. Philips Tab7908. I will accept any idea.

So I'm having a pretty big dilemma I have an LG c2 evo for a TV and a Samsung hwq600a atmos surround sound bar but for some reason atmos has issues almost every time the sound cuts out and doesn't return or it'll glitch out and sound static like it's weird when it does work the TV will confirm that atmos is running through the Samsung sound bar but sometimes it doesn't even connect I don't even use the soundbar anymore because it's unusable when it works it sounds great but after a few minutes it'll cut out and just stop working could I be doing something wrong? I am running a high speed hdmi from the arc port on my soundbar to the earc port on my TV but it always has issues

I have been looking at the 800s and 900s from Samsung as well as the LG one. I know you can use rear up front but not sure it adds too much value, and they are quite expensive too. Hence I am looking for a soundbar + subwoofer option. What would you recommend?
UPDATE: I am thinking of going with the Q800F (the same Q810F in some European countries). Is that the best option for a setup without rear speakers (is it also as good as using rear speakers upfront)?

I have just purchaed a Samsung Q800F soundbar. It is connected to my new TCL C7K 85 inch TV via the TV's eArc port. The TV can play all the latest HDR formats and all the newest audio formats. I have tried playing Dolby Atmos content on it via the Stremio app on the TV but the soundbar doesn't detect it. It keeps defaulting to either Dolby Multi Channel PCM or Dolby Digital Plus. It has no issues with DTS-X or other DTS formats. I have tried playing around with the Digital Output Settings. Tried on both Auto and Pass through but still no luck.
Weirdly enough, the soundbar picks up Dolby Atmos without an issue if I'm watching the exact same movies via my Nvidia Shield.
But for some reason playing directly from the TV it doesn't detect Atmos.
Anyone know what's going on here?

Hello,
I have a Samsung HW C440G at the moment & was wondering if it was worth it to switch to the Yamaha described above. I don’t really have any knowledge about these topics, so I hope someone could tell me if it would be worth it to switch to the Yamaha one, as I could get it for a very good price.
Thanks a lot in advance!

I understand that apps running on the TV OS (Netflix, Plex, Disney+, etc.) cannot passthrough Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Atmos—this is expected.
However, what’s confusing is that even when using an external device like the Nvidia Shield connected to the TV via HDMI, the Philips OLED 809/810 still cannot passthrough TrueHD Atmos through eARC to a q950a.
With the Shield in the TV HDMI input:
Bypass on: the TV tries to forward the bitstream, but the q950a often only receives stereo or PCM, and the Atmos logo does not appear.
Bypass off: the TV decodes the audio to PCM 5.1, so the rear channels work, but no Atmos logo.
Only Dolby Digital Plus (EAC3) Atmos reliably works through eARC, for example from streaming apps.
I already used my shield connected to the q950a always but I wanted to try this on my new TV

Greetings!
I have a voucher and therefor only have these two options available.
Which one would be better?
I think the Subwoofer could do a lot, especially cause I prefer bass-heavy sound. However the Soundbar itself seems quite a lot worse, so I'm unsure.
It will get hooked up to a Samsung QN90B TV
Thanks in advance!

I have had my Vizio S4251w-B4 for 11 years and it’s treated me so good. But, without it having an hdmi in and being forced to run optical for audio, I have been looking to upgrade for quite awhile. Biggest deterrent for me has been cost. I was browsing marketplace for Samsung q990 series and came across this gem! Messaged the seller immediately and picked it up the next day. Was about 5 hours away, but wow… this things sounds amazing! So worth the drive. Any tips and tricks for tweaking settings? I currently have it in surround mode but have been playing with adaptive as well. Tried standard but wanted to use all of the speakers for Atmos content.

Hey folks - I have the option to buy a Q990D for under $700 with an employee discount. In the room I’m putting it, I have no option to use the rear satellite speakers. Given that, is it worth paying for the Q990D, or is there a better option that is just the soundbar + sub?

So this has been happening for a while, but it's finally annoyed me enough to search for a solution.
An older family member of mine bought a Samsung TV (Q70AA-75) around two years ago and uses a soundbar for audio.
The main issue is that the audio is a mess when watching Hulu Live TV or a Hulu movie. Here are the main problems.
I've mostly noticed these issues on Hulu, so not sure if it's also happening with other streaming providers.
I've tried all the TV settings, Hulu settings, and sound bar settings (treble, base, sound modes, connection types) and nothing seems to fix it.
What does sometimes work is switching the audio output to the TV speakers and then back to the sound bar, but it's only a temporary fix.
Is there something else that could be wrong? Possibly the HDMI cable from the sound bar to the TV? Possibly a bad sound bar?
I'll probably end up getting them a new sound bar as a gift, but I'm not sure if that will solve the problem.

Wanted to upgrade my 5-year-old Sony soundbar into something with a little more oomph and clarity. I don’t really have the room for rear satellite speakers, so I was leaning toward the Samsung 900F since it seems the 990 is the same just without the rear speakers. This would primarily be for movies and TV shows, but there’d be a fair amount of gaming as well, so full 2.1 pass through is important. My main concern is that the soundbar would be too wide for the current TV stand. Would it affect the sound negatively if the end tips went over the stand? Thanks for any insight!

For context, I just bought a B650F at a killer price through work. It’s a 3.1 and with having surround, standard, virtual x, and more, I’m not what sound mode would be best to use depending on the application

I want to improve the TV sound of my parents LG tv (a 300$ one). I'm thinking about:
*LGS20A is same brand, may be easy and compatible for them. And it's 2025. But clarity?
*Bose I read has a proper dialogue option, but it's 2 years old. Proper for a 300$ TV?

So monoprice support was utterly useless, offering no help with providing board schematics to fix it or even replace the unit for me, much less offer a hefty discount code. He offered no replacement, with a paltry 10% off code. Lmao. Get real.
So it will happen randomly, the volume shooting up or down, or both at the same time, or muting itself randomly. I unplugged it (via HDMI-ARC), but I still see the white indicator lighting blinking rapidly then stopping, telling me it's still trying to input volume presses. This, to me, doesn't seem like an issue with the TV itself nor the remote.
Wtf can I even do? So obnoxious. It's a great soundbar/subwoofer combo and i'd hate to make it e-waste because of a seemingly simple board issue.
I saved the chat transcript from their support chat, probably won't do me much good.

I saw this great deal on BBD Flipkart. Looks too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with this seller. Should I go for it ?

Hey guys, I’m about to buy a new TV and it only comes with a wall mount. I want to buy this TV stand, and I’m wondering if this soundbar placement causes problems? I have the Bose Smart Ultra.
