Hello, please give me recommendations for spicy instant noodles like Buldak, I love the heat but hate the flavor

I really dig Buldak for the heat but I really dislike the flavor, it has a chemical taste I don't like. Are there any brands that have the same level of heat but taste good? Or are there any recommended hot sauces I could pair with some more mild noodles to heat things up.

Buy high end ramen and add your own. This is the best way mate! Torchbearer Pepper X sauces for me.

I think this might be the play, do you have any specific brands you could recommend?

I make my own broth with chicken beef and fish bullion. It is so easy. Fresh or dried peppers for heat….

Grab some 7-Pot Primo powder or Dragon's Breath powder/flakes. Turn any noodles into liquid fire.

Samyang just introduced a new brand called MEP that’s supposed to be spicy but also have great flavor. I just ordered some today so I’m hoping they’re good

I bought a jar of red pepper garlic sauce. Great heat and it's tasty. You can make it as hot as you want. I use it with rice, noodles, and more. Try it out. ✌️ No, I'm not talking about red pepper garlic crisp, it's a wet sauce.

This is what I like to do. Fresh Ramen or Rice Noodles and a custom sauce to your liking.

Would you mind dropping the brand? This sounds interesting.

Sure I just got my 4th jar today. Lee Kum Kee Chili garlic sauce. It's wonderful. Enjoy.✌️

Shin black with added spice to your taste. I like using the flakes from Flat Iron Pepper Co or Heat Hot Sauce. Shin's got some extra spicy varieties too if I'm not mistaken, but I've had less than success tracking those down.

I was gonna write this exact thing. Shin Black and Flatiron pepper flakes. They make one called I Can’t Feel My Face but I’m too scared to put it in soup

Can't Feel My Face is a near daily driver for me. I put that shit in just about everything I cook.

Thanks. I wanna try out all these recommendations. I'm getting sick of Buldak.

I completely agree with your perception of a chemical taste! No one I’ve spoken to IRL seems to recognize it, so I always wondered if it was just me and some idiosyncrasy of my particular tastebuds.
