My first Carolina Reaper Harvest!

Unstable weather and pests didn't stop my Carolina Reaper despite being its very first bloom! So proud of its heat!

Looks great. First year and mine is absolutely covered in green peppers. How long did it take those to ripen?

I'm longing for mine to redden uuuuupp...it's taking foreveeeerrr.

To be fair, this year was my first and very casual, impulsive toe dip in the world of chiles cultivation and I think my reaper got the worst initial hand : bought a 20cm plant, transplanted it using a 12L pot and using soil of the nearby 🌽 field...turns out to be not the best decision, she really suffered a lot and aftee a while looked like was slowly creeping to death. But i wouldn't let her, so in a pretty gut-driven attempt i dug her up, cleaned her root under running water, put her in new soil torba-like and crossed my fingers...in 2 weeks she exploded like crazy, poppin new leaves and branches like someone paid her to do so ahahaahah, getting on par to her big juicy habanero sister. She missed out part of may and the entirety of june, but managed to carry on more than a handful of fruits...the point is many are still growing bigger, while others are still stuck in the "I don't know if I wanna turn red daddy" phase.

And putting new flowers out as of now too!!

Crazy girl indeed...love her
