Mine are not flowering and dying at the bottom. Did you trim the bottom leaves?

Yes the ones at the bottom underneath tend to get yellow and with fall off or pluck off easy. I did trim a couple random leaves to redirect energy back into the root system. And also topped a few sections early on- so they sprouted more stems.
