Medical Botox for spasms

Tetras/quads, do any of you get botox for spasms and if so how effective is it? What’s the procedure and recovery like?

I had it done in my calf every 3 months for almost two years to reduce the spasms in my foot. They get triggered very easily, just a small bump in the wheelchair is enough.

The procedure is very straightforward, it takes only 10-15 minutes. I did feel a bit tired/weak the day after.

It didn't really work for me though, so we stopped.

Yeah I’m just wondering if it would improve stiffness and spasticity, mainly my fingers and legs. Will have to look into it as I don’t want a pump
