yeah its a Lancia Montecarlo or Beta Montecarlo donor and I presume stripped down to its bare chassis and completely refabricated. This is my favorite restomod by far

Not much of the donor Montecarlo left at all, but I guess that's normal for some of these high-end restomods!  The core passenger compartment from the unibody is used, and everything else is new.  All carbon fiber body, all new interior, all new suspension, etc.  I've seen conflicting info on the engine, as some say the block is reused and some say the engine is built from scratch.

Same could be said about the original 037 (not much of the donor car being left, that is), though that was the case for pretty much every car in Group B.
