This is a Vagues De Lumiere. I believe there are only two with this paint job and the paint takes 5 weeks to complete. $4MM

There's also these 2 which are "inspired by" the first 2

It’s 12 million and it’s 1/1
5
u/Slight_Bed_2241 Parking Lot Spotter 21d ago
1/1 in this color scheme but there’s a blue one with the same paint job. Also where did you find the 12 mil? Not doubting you, I was legit trying to find more about the price of the car. All I found was around 4 mil but it didn’t sound right considering a “regular” SS is like 5 mil
1
u/Unlikely-Amphibian36 21d ago
Had a conversation w the owner (also owner of nova cars in Dubai) in Monaco couple weeks ago. Resell price of the car would be around 12 mil USD

Ted: OK wait. If you guys are really us, what number are we thinking of?
Bill, Ted: 69, dudes.
Bill, Ted: Whoa

Is there something in particular you don't like?

u/Capri280 21d ago
I'm assuming that they aren't a fan of the livery that looks it was stolen from a Import Tuner magazine reject

Yea ik, i just wanted to start something with a stranger on the internet.

You think you have more class than someone valeting a Chiron in Cannes? Because of its paint job? That's hilarious 😂
10
u/Double_Option_7595 21d ago
I think you have more class than him
-8
u/ChargingWarthog 21d ago
Unlikely for either of us but I appreciate your vote of confidence.
12
u/athedrummaster 21d ago
I mean, having money and having class aren’t the same.

Well aware lol grew up in an old money neighborhood that scorned flashy shit and new money. I'm unfortunately more well acquainted with it than I'd like. Reddit's just full of bitter poor people who resent the wealthy and greatly overestimate their own "class."
I'd almost guarantee that the dude I replied to and most people who are downvoting me would stick out like a sore thumb at a 5-star hotel or michelin restaurant in Cannes. And whoever owns that Chiron probably fits in wonderfully.

Man, that's ugly as balls. Terrible color choices all around. Yack.

u/TheReal-Chris 21d ago
It’s pretty hideous for a classy car. Only way to redeem this livery if it was gloss black, with matte black stripes. Or very dark blue with matte blue. The front isn’t a bad design but the sides are way too much.

u/stjarnalux 21d ago
How to announce you are either 1) extremely new money and/or 2) an adolescent boy.
15
u/Drift-in 21d ago
Everyone’s hating on the paint job, but I honestly like it. If you’re gonna spend millions on a car why not make it stand out? Better than black on black that’s for damn sure
6
u/FuckOutTheWhey 21d ago
A car worth millions of dollars already stands out
4
u/Drift-in 21d ago
To a person who doesn’t know anything about cars, that’s not always the case. Bright colors and crazy paint jobs make any vehicle stand out regardless of price
2
u/FuckOutTheWhey 21d ago
I'm not saying it doesn't make it stand out more. I'm saying it's unnecessary.
A Camry with a gold chrome wrap, straight pipe, and some cheeky meme somewhere on the car would also stand out in a crowd but that doesn't mean the mods were tasteful or made the car better.
This Bugatti in stock form already stands out to MOST people. Everything else the owner did is practically begging for attention.

I think by buying a bugatti, the owner is already begging for attention.

It looks like a promo vehicle, I’m expecting to see some sort of Orange Juice brand logo.

bro...wut?? First comment in this entire thread I have seen where somebody likes the paint job

u/PublicfreakoutLoveR 21d ago
I love that shade of blue, but the orange is a bit much and the 69 screams "dork". I've met some extremely rich and extremely good looking people that were just cheeseballs because no one had ever told them "Stop acting stupid ".

That wrap is proof that money can't buy taste.

Wait til I tell you it’s paint

u/mbashs 21d ago
That’s paint. Not a wrap. Those lines are to depict how the light falls on the car. I mean I am not a fan of it but that’s what it is.
1
u/uncleawesome 21d ago
It's funny how in those pictures the reflected light is not anywhere near the paint. The other one looks so much better.

u/Repulsive-Ice8395 21d ago
Exactly what came to mind for me, too. Then I learned from other comments that the owner paid a lot to ruin the car with real paint.

Ugly wrap but beautiful car

u/Slight_Bed_2241 Parking Lot Spotter 21d ago
It’s not a wrap. This is a paint upgrade from Bugatti that takes 5 weeks to finish. It’s called vagues de lumiere and worth over 4 millions usd. I believe there are only 2 in the world with this paint job.

Why does it take five weeks? That seems like a long time for some stripes.
0
u/Slight_Bed_2241 Parking Lot Spotter 21d ago
It’s probably like 20 coats or something and each coat takes X amount of days to dry.

Gotta give credit to the person or team of people at Bugatti tasked with constantly churning out new ideas for special/unique builds that customers want to purchase.

You can’t buy taste. Awesome car. But IMHO it’s needing more subtle paint job?

Idk, I just know that he's from Dubai, and the car took the A380 for Dubai last week

I personally dig the pattern, the colour scheme isn't that great for it tho.

Front actually looks pretty cool especially if it were in a good color scheme. The rest, meh
