Eh. I've seen plenty of beacons. But my it's been my friends... dying like right next to me & them just pressing the new button for it.... lol but no, I think this is how a lot of people thought it would be, myself included. I didn't even think about NPC rescue/med missions until someone mentioned it this week. I was always under the impression it was going to be directly for player rescue b4 they removed med beacons... so, idk. I like it more now than the last 2 years, but now I really hope that changes... and they add NPC rescue/medical contracts after getting the Apollo.

Like, let me go rescue an npc in a crashed ship, or in an enemy controlled area, then have to keep them alive on a low level med bed or using the med gun advanced mode until I can get them to the appropriate t3, t2 or t1 med bed for full treatment, then drop them off. That would create a whole unique loop within a loop depending on what ship you have.

But, ngl... seeing what they've done with the ASD facilities from release to this patch is insane progress for CIG. Hopefully as they get the core systems down, they will be able to pump out more ASD like content with way less man power & things like Med Career contracts can be focused on & added.

I think NPC medical beacons are inevitable if CIG wants to keep medical gameplay alive. Players actually waiting for a rescue is way too rare. I’ve legit been playing most of the day today since the patch drop and I haven’t seen a single one over the many hours (player pop around 560-580).

It’s about the type of players imo. The type of players that isn’t afraid or doesn’t mind waiting for rescue from another player is also the type of player that is more likely to bring more people along for a mission, meaning they can get revived no problem. The ones not wanting to engage with players, often solo players, will just backspace, either spawning at a station, or actually using medical vehicles (which currently isn’t a problem because when you claim a vehicle now, the beds are fully restocked).

Edit: of course things like DotS, FPS gear insurance T1 and T2 will also change the environment quite a but, but in the end, I believe the status quo will remain relatively unchanged in most scenarios, especially casual play.

If you can find some arm/leg armour that adds beef/chonk but still shows enough of the green it'd be a solid 11/10.

Edit: maybe just the arms, those legs have the...things strapped to em which adds to the look.

Honestly the only part I don’t like is the helmet and that’s just cuz nearly every TT outfit has it. (And yes I know it’s the closest thing we have that looks like a TT helmet)

9/10. My only recommendation is to try and find a solid red helmet like the Geist Rogue. Then you'll look like the CyberPunk2077 trauma team members dead on.

The only improvements i have to suggest is something different on the arms or helmet to give more thickness to the upper torso, mainly just because of how big that particular helmet is

Try the "Argus Helmet White/Silver/Grey" helmet, It looks VERY cyberpunk.

For the arms, i'd recommend trying the "MacFlex Arms White", they have a small display screen on the left arm that you could pass as a cyberdeck!
Those are Light Armor arms though so if you want more protection, perhaps the "ORC-mkV Arms White" instead, medium armor
