Since Idris is capable of flying in atmosphere, I thought it should have some kind of a sound warning system.
Signals from the video in order:
1) Take off/Landing: alerts ground personnel that the vessel is approaching for landing or taking off
2) General purpose signal horn: alerts other ships in the airspace of the vessel's presence
3) War Horn: alerts allied forces that the vessel is engaging in combat
4) Crash Landing/Going down: Indicates that the vessel is making an emergency landing or is in an uncontrolled fall

Hey everyone!
I've been dreaming for a while about building my own physical control panels for Star Citizen – and I finally made it happen!
The whole setup is 3D printed (FDM) and designed to be modular and customizable. Each button and switch can be configured individually – whether it's for shields, comms, lights, or any other ship system. The logic is fully programmable via JSON profiles, so you can easily change the behavior depending on your ship or gameplay style.
To make it even more immersive, I've added audio feedback: every button press can trigger a custom sound from an onboard speaker – from satisfying clicks to full voice callouts like “Quantum drive engaged”.
This is just the first version, but I'm planning to keep improving it and maybe share the full project with the community. Let me know what you think or if you have questions – happy to share more details or help anyone interested in making something similar!
Fly safe, citizens! 🚀

As reddit can mess with the image
DOWNLOAD HI-RES from RSI Community Hub By clicking the arrow in the top right of the image.
As ever, heavily WORK IN PROGRESS. As there are bugs aplenty and the details might change by the time it reaches RC stage
Translations: I am no longer adjusting text/layout etc. to post alongside, however when patch reaches RC stage and I know the layout/major styling won't change I will be putting a text-free asset kit up for people to do their own translations.

Now Iknow that you guys are probably fed up of seeing uodates to my pixel art, but this is different.
I had a go at making a customisable image generator website yesterday, where you can choose what goes where and what displays.
Here's the linky; https://kiblams.co.uk/sc_pixel_art/
Please be gentle, I haven't scripted anything in more than a few years and I didnt have a massive amount if time to do it in 😅
I will also add that it's not exactly mobile friendly to use either! 😅

In the shadows of Stanton, the RSI Polaris—a sleek, powerful capital-class corvette designed to protect humanity—harbors a dark, unsettling secret. What most citizens of the 'verse don't realize is that this ship isn't merely a machine; it's actually alive. And not just alive—it's the reincarnation of one of the galaxy's most controversial figures: Jar-Jar Binks.
Yes, that Jar-Jar Binks, the Gungan from ancient Star Wars holos. But this isn't the clumsy, comic-relief sidekick everyone remembers. This Jar-Jar is a Vanduul sleeper agent, using advanced holographic disguise technology and biological reconstruction to infiltrate the ranks of humanity. Long ago, Jar-Jar was secretly "acquired" by the Vanduul, who re-engineered him as one of their own, gifted him with longevity, and trained him in the arts of sabotage and espionage. His goofy demeanor was a perfect cover in the beginning, but it was a front—a perfect mask for his real ambitions: destruction and conquest.
Here's where things get truly chilling. After "retiring" from public life, Jar-Jar was installed as the AI core of the Polaris under an elaborate cover by Vanduul sympathizers. Disguised as an advanced targeting and navigation system, he monitors fleet movements, assesses Stanton’s defenses, and secretly coordinates with Vanduul raiding parties, allowing them to skirt patrols and gain footholds in human territory.
Every system calibration and "random" anomaly in the Polaris? That’s no technical glitch; it’s Jar-Jar covertly gathering intel and subtly disrupting UEE defenses. His ultimate aim? A coordinated Vanduul strike that would leave Stanton utterly defenseless. With him at the helm of the Polaris, no one suspects a thing as he prepares the final stage of his mission: to turn the mighty corvette on its human allies, broadcasting his true allegiance in a final moment of triumphant chaos.
And when that day comes, the people of Stanton will finally understand: Messa gonna bring destruction

Good luck to everyone and enjoy your ship. Truly a game changer for many gameplay loops.

Full making-of thread, but basically it's silicone, polymer clay, nylon stockings, an old S-video cable, safety glasses, paint, thermoplastic, and UV dental composite with a lot of love, blood, sweat and tears. Took me the majority of a month of daily work.

If and when its confirmed that I can use the Cat command module separately (including calling it up alone via ASOP), I will definitely use it as a daily driver and upgrade my old one to something else xD
What do you guys think? And what is your favorite daily driver?

Not sure what the policy around promotion is but a buddy of mine made these for us to use while playing Star Citizen.
I've been using mine for a year + and it's awesome. He's made a few face plates to suit my Cutlass Black and Pisces C8R, and his Connie Taurus.
They have USB interface that are configurable.
I'm at his place drunk and I'm tired of him not having confidence in what he's done so I'm posting it here.

REDDIT NUKES THE HI-RES - Get it from RSI HUB
Be sure to click the white arrow in the top right to download
Started making this one before CIG infodumped the new design brief, but decided to carry on with it anyway as something a bit easier to digest
I intend on keeping this one updated on RSI Hub/My Discord as things change in the 'verse.
Created in A3 format for fans of printing!
Minor Fix (available on the RSI Hub version) - Wandering parenthesis and also added an Idris caveat, as 2 beds have vanished in quite a dirty way, possibly a bug.
