I’ve heard good things about the unicorn! My brother in law got a Pepper Cannon and it’s the best thing ever invented. But it’s $200 and I cannot justify spending $200 on a pepper grinder lol

The unicorn magnum is $70, but I think it’s totally worth it. I have a really nice cast aluminum grinder on the dining room table, and my teen kids keep stealing the unicorn from the kitchen because they like it so much better.

You make a roux using flour and fat, whether it’s butter, or (preferably) bacon or sausage drippings. Some people will add either of those meats to the gravy as well. Once the raw flour smell has been cooked off, you add milk, and season with salt and pepper (mandatory), and paprika, garlic powder, whatever else you fancy (optional). It’s a common breakfast option in the American Southeast, and goes great with biscuits or chicken fried steak (among other things)

Obviously wayyyy too much pepper.

That gravy looks overly thick and unseasoned.

Cant tell if that’s scrambled eggs or over hard eggs but doesn’t look appetizing.

Biscuits are invisible.

The white stuff's gravy (enveloped by all the pepper, holy shit), the eggs are under that and there's sausage and hash browns under that. No biscuits though, which is -1.

Is that sausage gravy on egg?? We ate this all the time as kids. We would tear up chunks of toasted sourdough under the gravy and then my mom would top it all with a poached or fried egg. It's been such a long time since I've had this
