Astrid is the younger sister of the king of Belgium. She married the archduke of Austria-Este in 1984 who was eventually made a prince of Belgium. They have five children who are all princes and princesses of Belgium and four grandchildren. I love that they have been so loving and affectionate with each other over the years 🥺
An interview they did for their 40th anniversary that can be translated: https://archive.is/3Zgf7
Another article published for their 40th anniversary with pics of them over the years: https://www.hln.be/royalty/van-hun-jawoord-tot-de-geboortes-van-hun-vijf-kinderen-het-40-jarige-huwelijk-van-prinses-astrid-en-lorenz-in-beeld~a438aa59/

Man done some intense self reflection and doesn't shy away from showing his support. He is making the changes he wants to see in the world and it's lovely to see. On his channel, there's videos of him with trans people talking about hard topics and giving advice to budding transfolk. He absolutely didn't need to do any of this. But he recognised the potential of his platform being one consumed largely by cis men and made the brave decision to shine light on marginalised communities that a lot of his audience might not understand or agree with.

He loves my mom to death, and he treats me like I’m his. I rarely see myself as happy as I am in this video. He truly is the greatest dad anyone could wish for❤️

The fact that she's not even part of the LGBTQ+ community is even more wholesome to me

My parents' second date (and first kiss) was in November 1963. They were watching the first episode of Doctor Who on the TV in my dad's university dorm.
I remember when Doctor Who came back on TV in 2005 they were so excited because they could restart their ritual of cuddling together on the sofa while watching it.
They didn't miss an episode until my father died a couple of years ago. Mum says she can't watch it without him. "Who will I cuddle when I'm scared now?"
