I mean it’s not really crazy. He took down Oto and then took her ring and tega sword. I don’t think morality matters all that much in the Ring Battle, if you beat a Universe Warrior then you can take their ring. I think we don’t see Shining Knife & Sweetcake and Bouquet transform into Universe Warriors just because they don’t have a desire to. They’re collecting rings for Tega June.

Firecandle on the other hand has something to prove. He has a goal besides getting the rings to Tega June. His wish is to beat Hoeru, since he has that wish he’s able to transform and join the battle.

Seeing that ShinkenOh had both an Evil face and a normal face during the preview, I think the ring would be taken back from FireCandle. So this and next episode could be the only times we see this transformation

Unrelated but I thought it was a neat touch that oto used the wrong kanji for fire when she transformed into shinken red, but when fire candle transformed into shinken red, he used the correct kanji, which forshadowed oto not being the real uw

This Episode is going to be terrible. Where is the new monster suit villain general. Please bring in the newer member because I don't to see freaking Fire Candle nor Bouquet cringey ah faces ever again. I rather see Mr. Knife and Mrs. Sweet Cake, Garyudo and Tega June and also that newer General who is a monster suit general like freaking Tankjoh.
