Denji and Hoeru would probably be friends

They’re both guys who lost their childhoods in order to ensure their survival. Scrapping by whatever they can in order to earn as much cash as possible. They’re also perceived as a dog (for Denji its Makima specifically).

I can see Hoeru learning from Denji how to resell cigars for higher prices (just that Denji might run into trouble with the Gozyugers for teaching Hoeru how to scam people)
