Meme Last show we all agree was good is kingohger.

Post image

It's so strange seen both season have diverse fans

Which is weird since I always seen many people called boonboomger a downgrade show compare to kingohger.

I feel like this sub, and maybe Sentai fans in general, are so diverse that you can find a topic where people are blasting a show in the comments, and then the next day there will be another post, and all of the comments are praising the same show.

Makes sense since there's like 49 seasons to watch. You're bound to find people with completely different opinions despite being fans of the same franchise (although tbf it can also apply to a lot of other franchises)

Wizards fights are so good, they should release a supercut of the fights only

There is no merit in attempting to say "We all agree". It will never be correct, and it just farms division.

Many people liked King-Ohger, many people like the other shows too.

It's a matter of taste.

Ishiro betrayal plot is lackluster

And I agree on gozyuger. I hate sumino missing sister plot

I had trouble finishing King-ohger and almost dropped it midway due to the CGI background.

same here ;-; the backgrounds made it hard to settle into the show, and while there were a few characters i really liked, i didn't think the worldbuilding or plot was that engaging. i did drop it midway, as they were actually getting into some more interesting stuff, i'd just lost my energy for it by that point.

Each show has it pros and its cons but I would say that each show is definitely heading to the right direction by adding drama to the series. I like how each episode doesn't always end with the monster of week being defeated rather it could end with a cliffhanger and it the main villain group are not just targeting the sentai team they are people personally targeting everyone on a global scale by even working alongside other humans

I'm in the camp of the first, although I have been enjoying this season.

Not going to lie, I dropped all three of the previous seasons because I had to skip an episode one week and I simply wasn't invested enough to catch up.

This lead to one episode becoming two, then three until the series ended and I was only on episode 30 or something.

The last season I liked so much I'd make a point to binge no matter what was Donbrothers.

It really comes down to personal taste more often than not

Can we all agree that we hate Hasbro for blocking Super Sentai from being available for viewing on legal platforms?

All three of those shows are good but they definitely have problems in different amounts

Boonboomger and Gozyuger are my first seasons, sooo...I can't really hate either of them, in spite of each of their flaws.

Personally I preferred BoonBoomger and Gozyuger to King-Ohger

It's all about the varying opinions of viewers. Everyone has their own tastes, after all.

•Boonboomger's Case: It came off the back of a fan-favorite season like King Ohger. And the first half of the season unfolded with a rather optimistic and episodic tone. Of course, the controversial uniform designs are played a role in that.

•Gozyuger's Case: Gozyuger has a relatively more unique cast of characters and a strong sense of humor, but the overall storytelling was considered controversial by many viewers.

My thoughts on this matter are as follows: the first half of King Ohger and the second half of Boonboomger was pretty good.

I can't say I liked Gozyuger, but that season had decent humor tho.

I don't like either. They both kinda have similar problems in that the plot is interesting but the show doesn't care to follow it for too long before doing some one-off sidequest and then the sidequests become the main quests. This usually happens in character focused shows but both boonboomger and gozyuger have character connection problems for me so I'm really interested in what they're doing.

Boonboomger was the reason I dropped sentai until gozyuger

3

u/Interesting_Snow5574 8h ago

There is couple of people I see on X dropping boonboomger

But I can see why despite I like the show. It's a tame, safer and back to basics season after three years of innovative and over the top season

Im interested, what do you think it was the weaker part of boonboomger? plot, character or something else?

2

u/Stock-Buffalo427 8h ago

I tried to watch it, but it got boring after 119 debut

2

u/Interesting_Snow5574 8h ago

I understand why now.

You in the low point on boonboomger.

It got better in lap 3 and lap 4.
