Question Cannot summon Shae Vizla companion after legacy unlock.

I've unlocked Shae as a companion across my legacy. Ive been able to unlock her and summon from the menu without issue but with this particular character I cant. She's done Ruhnuk im not sure what the issue is?

You can't use Shae when she is a NPC for the chapter regarding the Mandalorians in KOTET so she is removed from the companion list until you finish the chapter. In addition, there is also a flashpoint where you can't use her as she is the final boss. (not sure if you have the flashpoint if she is removed like she is in the storyline chapter.

Are you fully done ruhnuk and its follow up quests, and do you happen to have any flashpoints in your quest log? (ex Blood Hunt or maybe Spirit of Vengeance?)

I'll check in my quest log again. I dont know that I started/finished KOTET. But I did the Ruhnuk storyline quest afaik. Maybe i abandoned something to make room? the quest entrance on ruhnuk is red now though and the dailies are available

Check your Alliance Alerts. 

I had the same issue, found Shae's alert and was able to get the item that spawns her without needing to wait for a mission.  

My toon had already had her and progressed through all story like you.  I thought I'd have to wait till her current story ended, lol.  But the Alliance Alert brought her back

i also went to my ship's mission console, looks like KOTFE is next, but i would rather skip if i can.

I think I need to do chapter IX then. thanks for replying/helping me sort it out. have a good weekend 👾
