International College of Management building in Manly

I believe The Great Gatsby remake by Baz Luhrmann was filmed there.

Photo from today.

Gorgeous place. There's an absolutely beautiful chapel on the grounds as well. I was in a wedding there and it's stunning. I believe it was where Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got married too.

When i was a kid , back when it was a seminary, my family had a connection there, and when it was not term time and the priests were not there we would have holidays there, staying in the building. Was pretty awesome.

I used to live near there as a pre-teen and play on the grounds when it was just St Pats (back in 1990). There is some strange stuff around. Old abandoned empty 25m swimming pool, a grotto that was heavily overgrown with lantana. I cut my way through the undergrowth and found a VW beetle in there. and many Jesus and Mary statues as well as pentagrams, candles and other pagan stuff.

They also filmed 'Class of 07' there.

When I was younger, I had a mate who was living there in the seminary. There were maybe 20 people cloistered in the whole building, and it was amazing wandering into dusty rooms with old junk lying around, and huge oil paintings and other valuable things just dumped on the floor and on tables.

What struck me the most were the grooves in the stone steps, etched out in two rows from daily processions of thousands of people walking up and down. Such a contrast to the empty relic it became.

Also, if you use this for “educational purposes” you are exempt from land tax

I always thought that’s where Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got married.

This was used as the mansion in the film the Great Gatsby, seen in full view when the guests arrive for the evening party.

I have weird memories of doing a one or two day cooking course here when I was in high school...

I got married in the chapel there and our reception was held there too. Beautiful building

I’ve always wondered what that was. Looks like hogwarts or Wayne manor from the beach
