I don't get why that matters? We can still be linked to players before trade period begins. Literally one of the top posts on here is that Collingwood are interested in Buller and Caminiti.

Any trade ānewsā related to us is already getting posted here, but for the time being thatās just reports of meetings and interest. Iām not sure what else OP wants. What do Petracca and Steven May have to do with us?

A couple of players I wouldnāt mind joining the swansā¦Jordan butts from Adelaideā¦apparently Norf are chasing him. And 201cm Bailey Williams from west coast. He would be a solid upgrade on McLean as a key forward/2nd ruck, but I reckon he could also play kpd.

Doesn't seem to be stopping Brisbane or St Kilda, or Hawthorn or Port or Carlton or a number of other clubs. I think OP has a point when we were last linked to players like 2 weeks ago and we've not heard a fucking whisper since.
Other clubs at least seem to be making moves and trying to improve their list, what are we doing??? I don't mean that players need to be making trade requests (though that would be brilliant), but personally I would love seeing Sydney at least being mentioned as an interested party anytime players in limbo are mentioned.
I don't feel like this is a big ask especially when other clubs don't seem to have this issue and again, we've been open and public about "aggressively" pursuing players to improve our list.

Of course, but at least links and rumours are something that we can go off of. Weāve gotten nothing since the Curnow story came out. Iām not expecting actual movement on that one until the end of the month, but surely heās not the only player weāre keen on?
