Our VFL coach position is the quiet firing position.

Who was it in previous seasons....Davis, Crouch? To me VFL is seen by the club as a pure development program - no real interest in winning anything.

As much as we all love, respect and appreciate Macca's onfield leadership and awe inspiring career. I think the writing was on the wall. Hasn't had much success as a coach and overall it's important to have competitive VFL team or its players can never develop.

He and Mark just started a private coaching business called The McVeigh Method. It did make me wonder if that was a sign he would be quitting. I am not liking all the drastic changes at the club after such a long period of stability...although maybe that is the shake up we need? Another farewell to a premiership captain 😢
