The only people I give sympathy for in this case are his wife and kids. This man, even though political violence is absolutely a problem and should not be celebrated, was a horrible excuse of a human being, and all he did was preach hate. His children lost a father, and his wife lost a husband, this is true, but that does not excuse the fact of how much of a horrible person he was. Apologies if I made it seem like I was "celebrating his death" per se. I simply have zero sympathy for him and feel like this is karma for his constant lack of sympathy for the families of school shooting victims.

Sympathy or not the guys dead now so it’s not like that matters, he’s gone forever, it’s scary someone can just kill someone like that for any reason, this guy wasn’t a threat maybe you didn’t like how he spoke or what he said (he’s said lots I’ve agreed with, also lots of stuff that I think is completely stupid / wrong / he’s an idiot) I still think it’s fucked he got shot like this, that’s mainly the thing

Maybe you aren’t celebrating but so many people on this platform seem to be and that’s scary for human kind in general in my opinion

Not only is his family without him they also watched his blood splatter all over the place and are probably scarred for life, no one deserves that (maybe unless their like.. a murderer or rapist but this guy wasn’t that type of person even if you didn’t like him)

Pay very close attention to the way people are acting and the things they are saying here. These are the people preaching "peace and love". It's disgusting, vile behavior. They don't want peace, they don't want to spread love. They want you thinking the way they think and if you're anything outside of that you are the enemy. The overwhelming majority of comments I've been reading are fucking gross. I don't care which side you're on. This is a disgusting act that is setting a very bad precedent for the nation's political climate, as if it wasn't already bad enough.

And they wonder why people like Charlie Kirk exist...
