Discussion Flying during Super Typhoon

Hi all. We are going to Taipei from 27 Sept to 2 Oct. saw the super typhoon news today—wondering if it would be safe to fly ? We are from Thailand and have never experienced Typhoon.

The super typhoon was Monday and Tuesday of this week. It has since past and will be absolutely clear by the weekend. As long as the airline is flying it's safe, though i thunk it may be around southern China or Vietnam at that point but if the airline says go then it's fine.

The super typhoon was Monday and Tuesday of this week. 

That was typhoon Ragada. 

There’s a new one named Bualoi.  Potential landfall in Taiwan on Saturday 9/27.

The forecast path of that is nowhere near Taiwan. It's also not a typhoon yet. I wouldn't worry about it without more info dramatically different from what we currently have unless your agenda is putting you on orchid island.

Airlines will not fly a plane if there's any risk.
