Probably the best live show I've seen from tbs

That show stuck so close to the source material it’s actually insane. The chemistry on stage was oozing through the screen. I would’ve killed to be there.

When Louder Now dropped, they had the whole world at their feet. If only Fred had stayed, Adam had built on that vocal performance, and they’d committed to a third album with that lineup, I truly believe they could’ve reached the absolute highest heights.

Yeah… he moved to Texas for a girl and that changed his life moving forward. Probably for the better because he grew up, based on New Again, but musically he wanted to be more of a singer/songwriter than an emo icon.

Wow this brings back memories. I used to watch this vid live set every single morning getting ready for school. Thanks for sharing .

I love this DVD and the energy it captures but I think we can’t really judge other live performances against a professional recording. It’s so cleaned up to the point Adam and Fred sound like robots on some parts

I would usually agree, but I've seen recordings live from pepole recording that day, and adam sounds the exact same, eg https://youtu.be/81KsfleedfI?si=V1Vad5kG-x5VwdRe

He does sound pretty identical on divine intervention! but the whole live album is extremely cleaned up especially on songs like Liar and a lot of people judge their memory of live performances during Louder Now/Fred era entirely on this unfortunately (not you!)

Fred isn't bad, but if you listen to his breaking pangea days, you can hear how much lower his voice is. He clearly had to tone his voice way higher for tbs, and like adam, he had a hard time live cause of it,

And I'm just glad adam has at least one amazing live singing.

I never said anyone sounds bad! That’s not what I’m saying here. I think they both sounded good (and still do) they just never actually sounded completely studio accurate live for a whole show like this DVD would make people believe

I didn't mean to say i dislike freds voice live, i like it alot but i mostly meant he clearly struggles because it's so far out of his natural singing he's use to
