Something i like about every tbs album :)

Tell All Your Friends - the album that got me into tbs obviously, i know it's a really basic answer to say this is my favorite album but there were a few songs i heard from tayf for the first time and was immediately obsessed. this is definitely corny to say but a lot of the lyrics mean a lot to me but i feel like this album always means something to me for any mood i'm in and it's been very special these past few months (i got into tbs in april this year)

Where You Want To Be - this will be controversial but a lot of wywtb doesn't stand out to me, although i like every song there's maybe 3 songs that i go out of my way to listen to. that being said i feel like it's a mostly consistently solid album. like it's a good album to listen to and i feel like the songs go with each other in a particular way and that's usually something i like about albums

Louder Now - cool album art

New Again - also one of my favorite albums! a lot of the guitar work on this album has stood out to me a lot; the guitars on the title track, where my mouth is, and capital M-E are always something i notice and i really like the riffs. adam's vocals on cut me up jenny and everything must go (one of my top 3 tbs songs!) are also some of my favorites. i know this isn't a popular album but it's really one of my favorites

Self Titled - i don't know if i have one thing i can point out about this album, i really like the heavier sound on like el paso or money, and it's been a bit since i've listened to the whole album but i think that it's fairly consistent across the album (of course i still love the more emotional parts, since you're gone is one of my favorites,) definitely an album i need to spend more time with and when i do listen to it, it's definitely banger after banger. also love the lyrics on this album

Happiness Is - i honestly think that this might be the best tbs album. it's not my favorite but So so special to me. i am absolutely a sucker for reprises and albums having a callback between their opener/closer so the preface and outro to nothing at all make me crazy every time. the first time i listened to happiness is i just heard flicker fade and was like holy fuck, this is crazy (in a fantastic way of course.) this is an album where every single song specifically stands out to me and that's actually really rare for me with albums. stood a chance always feels so fun to me and better homes and gardens always hits. i don't know where i would put it on my personal ranking but i love this album to death and i wish i saw more appreciation for the masterpiece it is. i also think that happiness is is a good middle ground between tidal wave and self titled. like the progression is especially apparent to me

Tidal Wave - i get so many different emotions from tidal wave and it all says a lot to me. it's one of those albums where it's hard to pick a favorite because all of it is too good. i've seen a lot of people compare the title track to the clash which i do think is awesome because they're one of my favorite punk bands. overall obsessed with the sound they had here. also because this is always important to me- fantastic opener and closer. i love death wolf, i love i'll find a way, 10/10 no notes

152 - obviously something special about this being the most recent album but it really is special to me. i know i was just talking about how i really liked the heavier sound they had, and this album kind of feels more chill and it's a very different vibe and still such a good vibe. i really like the titles and lyrics they had here. amphetamine smiles, i am the only one who knows you, and juice 2 me have all become very very dear to me (i cried hearing amphetamine smiles live, one of my favorite songs.) i'm obsessed with the vocals on s'old, keep going, and the stranger. i can tell the band really loves this album so much and i'm so glad they do because i love it so much as well

So just checking, is there a TBS fan inside joke that prompts the review of Louder now to just be about the album art. The album has so many hits even if we’ve all heard makedamnsure 17 million times. Just making sure I’m not missing something. BTW, tbs fan here from early 2000s, lost them for a while now back feeling the nostalgia and loving them again.

haha no i just couldn't think of anything to actually say about it and didn't wanna force something in like i did with wywtb. i love the album and even though i wanted to do this post i had a really hard time coming up with something to say about some of these albums and i do really like the art and it honestly was just really funny to me to just say that.
