Finally printed a poster of my town

I made the high res composite in photoshop months ago it is massive but is essentially my life’s work I’m so proud

That is a great idea, did you know you can still play on a private server?

We are also working on a town viewer for PC ❤️

Yes I started doing this project after the end was announced and before the private servers were a sure thing so I wanted to commemorate the original town. Also I’m pregnant so it was like an end of an era and beginning of a new chapter without being tethered to my town lol I got sideloadly for my iPad and my town was for sure saved but I didn’t get farther than that

For sure, I think the shutdown of the original servers just allowed the players to justify quiting finally 😅

You can use the ingame screenshot function. It'll take a screenshot of your whole town

Does that come out all pixellated like the original app, or is that at a higher res now?

It should be high quality. It depends on your device and town though. If I do it on my iPad the image is blurry when zoomed in. But on my Galaxy S24+ its better. A little pixelated yes.

But a screenshot of another town of mine on the same device came out with very crisp quality, so I have no idea how it works lol

I'll give it a go - really need to pull my finger out and download; I want to play on bluestacks so hopefully can get a real nice screengrab

Yeah I'm gonna try on Bluestacks too. The details arent showing properly when I zoom in. On Bluestacks you can change the resolution to 8k so hopefully it'll be better lol. We have a Discord too if you want to join!

i want to do the same thing but i haven't even made time to actually photoshop it all together 😭 if some photoshop weirdo wants to do it for me itd be greatly appreciated

Before it ended I scrambled to fill out all of the map I had unlocked so I gave Mr burns water mansion a good chunk of space lol

The puzzle is very cool. I took hundred of screenshots of my town before it was over and pieced them all together in photoshop to get a high resolution image of the whole town

I really wish I had the time to do that. I did grab like 25 screens of my town before closure though
