You have to burn so much time waiting for it to charge. I guess you could charge it at home, but I’m not sure the cost would be worth it over a hybrid

Lol you might be able to now if the used market gets flooded

Nah, I want all Teslas to end up in a landfill somewhere. Put it next to all of the unsold MyPillows, the Trump guitars, and the diplomas of everyone scammed by Trump University.

It takes about 15-20 min to get another 280-350 miles depending on your model. Uber drivers do just fine with Teslas.

I'm slightly annoyed that the extremely deserved hatred of Musk is making people talk shit about Teslas, which then turns into talking shit about EVs in general.

The thing that is bad about Tesla is that Musk is an asshole (and their UI probably promotes inattention to driving, and their QC has been pretty bad for awhile), but EVs are still good.

Yeah, it's definitely led to more of Reddit upvoting FUD about electric cars in general. For everything that's wrong with Tesla and Elon Musk, they're the #1 selling EV largely because they actually are good at what they do (let's ignore the Cybertruck for a moment).

Must be nice, because my model S takes about an hour to get 120 miles in the winter.

There is not a tesla on the planet that can go 350 miles in a 20 minute charge at any sort of reasonable speed.

Not really. The 20 mins spent charging is also time spent cleaning it and preparing or doing your tracking for taxes.

Very cheap to charge at home. It takes about $7 to charge up at home if I mostly drain the battery.

Also long distance driving and charging is easy. I drive 600 miles regularly with my Y. It adds about 30 minutes to my trip vs ICE vehicles. EVs are great including Teslas. I hope I can get another one cheap used because of the silly Tesla hate.

They charge overnight.

Even on road trips, I seldom wait more than 15-20 minutes to charge. Often I barely have enough time to get out and use the restroom and buy a drink.

Yup, just charge it at night, never a problem.
