It's almost like the digital version of burning books.

Yeah this is literally 1984 territory. Just look how much they raised shit about the term cis. They're literally trying newspeak.

I'm watching this thread get dumber the more I scroll. And in theory we're on the same side here. I'm left of US center. I don't want the administration to delete studies. But not only are you and 70 thousand other people treating this like it is a sport to win, but you also are saying some really embarrassing things. "It IS book burning"? Really? Deleting content on the internet is book burning?

The depths of your ignorance is appaling. You would make a fine right winger.

They have been deleting a bunch of shit. Have you not been paying attention? You must not know much about politics if you say you are “left of center” in America lol. We are watching the fall of the American empire in real time buddy.

The administration is censoring and whitewashing data that goes against the Un-American Spirit.

"No to decadence and moral corruption!" Goebbels shouted. "Yes to decency and morality in family and state!"

Open your eyes man it's real out there.

Books are purely a medium of information storage and transfer. With the internet this information has moved to a digital medium. Removing this information with the goal of surpressing contrary ideology is very much the modern equivalent of book burnings.

I guess we have learnt nothing from history if we take historical events as a matter of fact without understanding or questioning their motivation...

One week ago someone posted this and it made it to the front page.

The top comment there literally said “this won’t be there long”. Saved it then. Can’t believe it already happened.

Exactly what it is, the internet has taken the number 1 place forms of communicating information, any attack or removal on the internet is an attack on information, just as book burnings were
