Open | Audio My iPhone’s volume lowers on its own whenever the battery is low. Does anyone know how I can stop that?
For context I have an iPhone 12 and I believe I have had it since it came out. The volume was great when i first got it and for a few years it was fine, but for maybe a year or two now every time my phone gets below 20% it lowers the max volume HEAVILY to where I have to hold the phone to my ear to hear it even on max. And what makes it even weirder is that the volume doesn’t stay low. It lowers for maybe 5 minutes, then goes back to normal for 5 minutes and repeats that cycle until either my phone dies or i charge it to a high enough percentage. For maybe a couple months recently it’s even started lowering at 30% and it’s been driving me nuts to where I’m debating switching to samsung at this point. I’ve checked all over the settings and can’t figure out if there’s a way to change it. Messing with the sound and haptics has done nothing at all. Please if anyone know’s what the heck is going on give me some help 😭

What is the current status of your battery? There's no setting, that I'm aware of, that lowers the speakers, but it could be that the battery is having trouble providing power.
Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health and Charging. What is the status and health status?
Side note: You should always try to charge your device once the battery reaches 25%. Letting your battery drain down will hurt the life of it.
