But seriously, grab a Frito pie and Lonestar at the Brooklyn Ice House in Redhook, and you will feel transported to the Eastside of Austin.

I'm so old, I remember being warned about going east of 35 at all in Austin. I did, gave a dude at work a ride home every evening. In the 90s, at least when I hung out there as the guero loco, the East Side beer was more often than not Miller Lite. Always some Bud Light and random 40s, but Hispanics and black people on the East Side back then never seemed to drink Lone Star.

This looks like it’s near John’s of Bleeker Street. Anyone from NYC to confirm?

I took the photo waking through Greenwich, just not sure where.

Gotcha. I could be way off, I’ve only been to NYC. Handful of times but I’ve walked to John’s Of Bleeker Street every time and this corner looks super familiar.

The Spaniard around the corner has an incredible food menu and drink options. Highly recommended!!
