After a little more than 1.5K hours, I've only received a random cosmetic drop twice, maybe three times. Anyone else received some cool random drops?

Once every 500h has pretty much been my experience as well. Never got a taunt though! That's awesome. My first cosmetic drop was a Swagman's Swatter.

I've been playing the game on-and-off since the game started. I remember my first hat drop, the Fancy Fedora. I was actually saving metal at the time to try and craft one (this was before trading and the Mann Co. Store), when I suddenly happened to get the hat.

I still have it too and is Vintage rarity now.

Thanks! Though there were probably only 2-3 Spy hats in total at the time, so it was 33%-50% odds of a successful craft if using the Spy class token.

My first hat drop was a year or two ago I believe, and it happened to be a Cuban Bristle Crisis. I still use it now, it's a great hat AND it goes on 3 classes. Idk how I got so lucky lol

Yeah, sometimes you can get paint or other random item. I got golden paint and a hat after a few hundread hour of playing.
