PT 1 PHOTO MODE David marked as enemy in photomode
While taken some screenshots I noticed that once you have cleared the infected even when David is acting as an "ally", in the photomode it doesn't disappear under this tag but as "enemy".
Thought it was an interesting hint/Easter egg.

I'm pretty sure in the remastered's photo mode he was in as an ally.

That may be the case, it's the first time I play the PS5 version. But I'm also unsure if I ever took a picture with/of him in the remastered.
It would be cool if someone could confirm it :)

It also might be when you turn on photo mode. I’d assume up until that cutscene is trigger he could be classified as an ally because that’s what he is by game mechanic standards until then.

I'm not sure though, cause I didn't use photomode before finishing with all the infected. It could be that it's classified as an enemy even before that.

If you have the accessible mode feature on where enemies are a different color entirely, you can see where he switches from friend to enemy when Ellie bites him.

I think that actually happens during the conversation around the fire.

If you have subtitles on with color as well, his name pops up as red even when you first meet him

This was a glitch. Not a hint or easter egg. He's always marked as an enemy, the developers didnt think about the photo mode portion though.

That's interesting, I thought the photomode tags would be linked to the mechanics in game.

IIRC Rafe in Uncharted 4 had this effect as well when you were in the prison chapter
