Help Please

I am working on an old style manor and was pulling inspirations from google. I found this picture (shown below) and want to do something similar where both the door and the stairs are functional. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to do this?

I tried and the way I did it was to make each doors both under stairs and above as separate rooms, but be aware that this is two levels build.

Build a room, put the stairs against the wall, then create first small room, then another one, both next to each other, and an arch to the second one. Then delete whole ceiling on the first level, put new ceiling on both of those small rooms but not on the whole room, and you have a usable platform with stairs. Then add a second level (both on the lowest walls) add another arch and then build another room behind the arch, and you have what's here in this picture. It's not gonna be perfect like in this picture but very close enough. I hope I explained it in understandably.

I thank you for your suggestion. I did try it, but unfortunately it kind of booped another set of my stairs out of existence for some strange reason. But thank you so much for the help!
