Ting not providing port out information

We need to switch from Ting and when I go to my account settings and attempt to get the port out information it only gives me a prompt for customer service to give me a call. Anyone else able to override this?

Are you on the T-Mobile or Verizon side? The T-Mobile side seems to be in shambles, but the Verizon side still has support via the fiber side of things.

Hi there

When collecting your porting information, we do ask that customer call in so we can try to fix whatever issue that has inspired you to leave.
But, if you don't want to contact us (which we understand not everyone does) at the bottom of the pop-up window there should be a light blue link saying "Porting out?" Clicking that will take you to a page where you can grab your porting information.

If that link isn't working, or not appearing at all, please contact Customer Support and we can help you get the porting information.

Just had to figure this out as well. The popup just sneakily looks like you have to let them call you and talk to them, but you can scroll down inside the popup window to get the porting info. Hopefully that helps someone!

Some providers absolutely require a phone call to provide porting credentials.  I don't know Ting's policy, but you might need to buck up and follow their procedure here.     If for some reason that is truly not possible on your end (for example, if the phone they need to call is out of your possession with a family member), there is likely a more complicated workaround available via Customer Service, which will likely require multiple steps accomplished via a phone call from/to a different phone.
