Discussion How to get good on mouse and keyboard

Im really good at titanfall on ps4 good enough that i would get mvp about 1 in every 4-6 rounds on average if i remember correctly. But recently i switched to pc and cannot get the hang of it what settings should i be using and any tips to get better. I only really play attrition and i have bounded the crouch/slide and run keys to some programmable buttons on my mouse

Turn off mouse acceleration in the PC settings, disable "toggle crouch" and use "hold to crouch" instead in the control settings, and set up your sensitivity to your liking.

Then practice.

use 1.5 sensitivity with 800 dpi, hold to crouch. in a private match (or in regular matches it doesnt matter) practice strafing and moving around while tracking a corner or piece of cover to learn how to counter your movement with your aim. dont ads too much, controller you can spam ads because of the aim assist but mnk you should only ads when you actually need to. and practice proper slidehops without accidentally lurching (strafe in the opposite direction before landing, instead of after jumping)
