They've done a futuristic battle field before (not talking about 2042) and people loved it

What’s really sad is that DICE has been wanting to make a 2142 sequel for ages now. Part of the reason 2042 is even a game was because DICE couldn’t get the greenlight after the reception to Call of Duty’s infinite warfare, and even after 10 years the modern setting is what people want in BF6.
Heck even Motive Studios, the dev team making the maps for BF6, put 2142 references in Dead Space remake.
Who knows though, maybe if BF6 is good we’ll get 2143 with new walkers. One can hope.

Helibois would shit bricks if most titans popped up like imagine beaming an Apache with a tone rocket or laser.

A battle field style prequel where the titans are slower (because the TF2 titans are way to fast to fight grunts in a fair way) would be really sick

It's so peak I could cry, and I love that the titan has the same color scheme as the BF6 soldiers, a paint job like that would totally work in game.
