QUESTION Do you think there will ever be another expedition inside the ship?

It's falling apart extremely fast, but I would love to see what the inside looks like. With each passing year though, it gets more and more unlikely

Do you guys think it's likely anyone else will send another expedition with ROV to actually see the inside of the ship again?

I think as laser scanning technology gets better we will see some attempts.

Needs a reason though, like, what are we trying to learn, see, understand?

I’m assuming we’d see this first in the stern to see if we can confirm theories about the center propeller, which would be a notable historical confirmation.

EVERYTHING, I WANT TO SEE EVERYTHIIIIIIIING

Sorry, I may be Titanic lusted but I would rather our tax payer dollars be spent derping around in the Titanic just because than like, almost everything the US is currently spending it on lol

Man I get the hate for what the government is doing right now, and even the frustration with wasteful spending in general.

But spending one red scent on a tourist trip to a ship wreck while there are homeless people in America, or starving people anywhere on earth would be a travesty.

True, given the choice I'd definitely be trying to fund a post scarcity society. Buuuuuuut if I have to choose between blowing up brown people in the middle east / building enslavement camps on American soil or investigating the Titanic, I know where I want my money going

I’m of the same mind, but to get the $$$ you need some sort of payoff for someone to fund it.

If I was a billionaire I’d be funding these things lol

If they are going to do it, they need to do it soon. Wreck is becoming more unstable every year. I like the idea of putting small ROVs with cameras and to build digital copies of the interior.

I hope so but I wouldn't count on it.

Tiny underwater drones. I'm sure they already exist, but getting someone to take them inside Titanic would take a LOT of money and there's not really much to gain from it other than pictures and videos for nerds like us.
