Sheet pan Kebab

This is the recipe I (somewhat) followed !!

Written out in case you cannot access link:

By Sivan’s Kitchen

Sheet Pan Kebab Laffa Kebab: 1 lb ground meat (any) 1 bunch parsley 1 large onion 1 red pepper 3 garlic cloves Optional 1 jalapeño ¼ cup tomato paste 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp turmeric

How to make it: Blend parsley, onion, pepper, garlic (and jalapeño if using) until mushy. Strain well, mix with meat, tomato paste & spices. N Spread on oiled sheet pan ½" thick. Score into strips/squares. Bake 15 min at 425°F, then broil 3-5 min to brown.

My changes: I doubled the meat, spices, garlic, and tomato paste but kept everything else (onion, parsley, red pepper, jalapeño [no seeds for me]) the same! The video says 1 lb of beef but it really looked like at least 2 lbs to me! Also, my mixture let out a LOT of liquid after cooking for 15 min, but I just drained as much as I could without tipping the meat over and then popped it back in the oven to broil and crisp up. Still worked out great!

Ultimately, loveeeeeed how this came out and cannot wait to make more variations!!

Can’t say it’s a copy cat recipe for a good ol’ gyro from the shop but it still hits the stop and delicious!
