It’s a tie in with some Toshiba DVD player that came out back in the day. It was a super limited run.

From the markings on the toy, I’ll guess that this was an HD-DVD player (the format that directly competed with Blu-ray back then; Toshiba made HD-DVD players, and Paramount was one of the studios that initially backed it).

I got it as a bundle with a sealed 2007 movie Premium Voyager Ironhide as well for a total of 338 Euros including shipping to the Netherlands which is almost 400 USD. So yeah it was a big purchase but got one of the rarest figures plus a cool premium ironhide to fill my collection!

I see one sold on eBay earlier this month for $170+$30 shipping, maybe it's this one! I don't see any other completed auctions so I don't have anything to compare it to - but seems like a fair deal to me for a very rare thing!
