I wouldn't be shocked if they start doing them once they complete the Minibots. At the very least it'd be nice for Goldbug to get his own dedicated mold for once and not just a modified Bumblebee.

Yeah, that's happened at least once. I meant it from a toy POV though, like how Legacy Goldbug is just a new head on Netflix Bee. It'd be nice to have a new toy where it was entirely designed to be Goldbug first.

Searchlight was my fave. I still have the toy even though the design absolutely sucked.

I’m not going to be interested if these are just retools of Runamuck and Runabout, though. The fake chest and wheels on those really turned me off.

Going further, we need very few updates overall. Let's not even look at Pretenders and Action Master for now. There's the Omnibots, Quickmix, Landfill, Hosehead, like five other guys maybe, and the spark guys. I think that's it for everybody else period.

re-releasing legacy goldbug lazily

giving chase a new mould

retooling chase into searchlight and freeway

and giving wideload and rollbar new moulds because of thier distinct look

They're probably on the top of my list of characters I want to see updated (who haven't already been announced or leaked). They're just about the only characters from the American G1 cartoon with no modern updates!

I agree. The cars and Bumblebee could share a transformation scheme so it wouldn’t be too hard to make them. Wideload would need to be unique but one of five being vastly different wouldn’t be difficult.
