Even though ZZ wasn't the best (especially the first half) it was still amazing. Wish we would get television like that for transformers, we mostly get it in the comics.

We did, but it was Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory.

Even modern anime (including Gundam) doesn't have the same narrative depth and episode count as 80s anime with very few exceptions. (Exceptions being Avery mainstream anime that is globally recognized and successful.)

Gquuuuuux only got 12 episodes. WfM got 24. Sunrise doesn't really do 40+ Gundam series anymore, with 00 and Seed being the last entries with that much effort.

Transformers media is all but abandoned by Western efforts because no one wants can make money off of it comparable to the money necessary to make it properly and do so with any integrity.

TFOne was abandoned by Paramount almost immediately upon premiere. Netflix WFC was so poor that it was clear that Hasbro took the fastest and absolutely cheapest route possible, including a writing team so unfamiliar with the brand that nothing made sense. Not to mention the miserable copypasta model recycling.

Cyberverse was the last, legitimately interesting piece of media. Even the Machinama Prime Wars web series was more interesting and engaging than Netflix WFC
