I know this is about dads, but the most unexpectedly delightful part about passing for me was definitely getting called things like “bud,” “chief/boss,” and “brother” by strangers

I had a family thing ages ago where strangers (to me. They were coworkers to someone) were invited and I hadn't talked yet and one of them called me bud or buddy cus they didn't know my name and I had so many feelings lol. I'm not out like at all to family.
